Suges pickguard color for alder/flame maple Strat body?

the white pickguard in the picture does not come with the body:

So what do you think? White? Black? Parchment? tortoise?

i second the pealroid either cream or white but i really would go with the vintage cream

Depends on the overall look ya want

I think white/parchment with creme controls and pickup covers might be nice.

I'm not really a fan of white pickguards btw, but... on that body, with a maple neck, it would be ok.
