After having connection/buzzing problems I decided to get a new jack & insulated wire.
After only 10 minutes (after removing neck & pickguard) I managed to do it right the first time (well second).
I had wired it sloppily 10 years ago and when I removed the pickguard the trem ground wire fell off. :laughing7:
So with a proper voltage Weller unit, more experience tinning wire, and a well placed needle-nose pliers holding the bits together, I made it!
New strings and whammo! I'm just excited it worked and it has proper integrity to last this time.
Now it's time to :rock-on:
