StratoPaul in the works

Gorgeous! You must be very pleased! I'm a big fan of gold myself, especially when it's as complementary to the body/neck as it is on yours.

>> Sorry to sound girly but I almost cried when I took the neck outta the box.

Nonsense. That's just being overwhelmed by such a fine piece. I remember when I got Last Triumph's neck here to work on, I laughed out loud when it came out of the box. It was just such a shock how incredible it was that it took me by surprise, and I've seen a helluva lotta necks.

Despite all the naysayers about mating that headstock and body, it works.

@Swarfrat Yeah I'm liking it too. Probably won't do that again, but I got one for keeps now ;)

@Cagey  Indeed I am! It exceeded my expectations. The neck is just blows me away and yeah, the gold is totally cool the way I have it configured with the black accents. I may actually leave the gold knobs now too.

I highly recommend these strings by the way - they're really comfortable under the fingers and bend beautifully. They better for $30 gah.

It is fantastic.  Nothing beats a Fender neck IMO. I have a deluxe FSR with an ebony neck w/o inlays similar to your beauty.  Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Well done. :icon_thumright:

I think the combo works very nicely. Saw an LP with Firebird headstock once which looked great, similar vibe to that.

Suzanne you're on the right track in my book.  Guitar looks awesome with the neck.  Consider this rockin' example of a warmoth neck and body taken to the extreme.  Your cool factor just went way up.  Don't discredit the neck for the inlays.  I don't consider it bling at all.  If you play live, it will look cool under the stage lights.  Something to think about.
That's Joe Perry's guitar, isn't it? Or certainly a direct copy of it.

Making me think I should pull the trigger on the LPS/Kramer neck combo I've been thinking about.
