Strat neck vs Mustang neck

What is the difference between Strat Modern Construction and Mustang Modern Construction replacement necks?

The Mustang has a shorter scale, 24" as compared to 25.5" on the Strat. Otherwise the feature set looks to be the same.

I've wondered about that.  I'd love to get a short scale strat.  Or at least a mustang body with a strat trem on it.

This is my plan. To build a 7/8 Strat with a Mustang neck - and voila: a 24" shortscale Strat!

Of course I'll be going with a hardtail bridge but you can put any type of bridge on it if you want to.
