Strat Claw Grounding Hole?

Am finishing up my first Strat build, and understand I need to solder a wire to the tremolo wire "claw" - but there's no hole from the control cavity through to there.

Is it normal that I have to drill this myself?

If so, wanting this to be as stock as possible, anybody got a diagram of exactly where (and how big) to make the hole?

Yes, there's a hole from the control cavity through to the input jack.

Please double check.  It should be there.  It is rather small.

Dang... And it just might be... Under the primer, gold metal flake and the 1/8th inch of clearcoat (not counting the three coats of brushed on RF shielding paint in the control cavity)

Now I'll have to try and find it though - thanks!

It is possible it was overlooked.  If you don't locate it, or feel comfortable.drilling yourself, contact them about arranging to send it back for them to do.

Found it! :)

Thanks for your help, guys - was nearly obscured and (being my first build) didn't know exactly where to look - but got it located now.

Appreciate the assistance - promise build and finished pics soon so keep your eyes peeled!
