Stoptail on a Jazzmaster

So I am finalizing parts for a Jazzmaster build but really would prefer to NOT use the Jazzmaster tailpiece / tremolo. I would like to use a stop tail... but I am not sure if it would be compatible with the Jazzmaster bridge. I know I could use a tune-o-matic bridge and a stop tail, but then I'd need to have Warmoth route the neck pocket with an angle of 1-1/2 to 3 degrees for proper operation, and I don't like that idea. If it is not compatible, is there another bridge / stoptail I can use that won't require routing? I have seen a Fender JM with a factory stoptail (I think in was in the new musiciansfriend catalog, but I can't find it on the net). Any ideas??

Thanks!!

Everything I can see shows a TOM with the stopbar.
If you want a hardtail, TOM, and no angled neck, try a recessed TOM bridge.

Ah, it was on a new Jaguar:

It's an "Adjusto-Matic bridge with anchored tailpiece in place of the tremolo." Does this give anyone any ideas?

It's a TOM, really. If you want it like that, I'd expect to have to get the angled neck pocket.

Thanks man, I appreciate the input. Something about an angled neck pocket seems like a workaround, I am not sure why, so I think I'm gonna roll with a a regular adjustable bridge (maybe the Schaller 475 flat).

Strat style bridges are not uncommon on hardtail Jazzmasters.
Neither are tele style bridges, nowadays.
