Should stick-on decals be put on before or after polishing/buffing takes place? I've heard that if the decals go on after the polish that they might not stick. If the the decals go on before the polish, might the polish not leave marks along the edges of the decals?

If you're going ti have decals on your guitar, they should go under the clear coat or nitro or whatever clear finish you are putting on it. And unless you make your finish thick enough, you'll be able to feel the edges of the decal..

Right, as long as the finish and decal are comparable. You want to make sure the clear finish won't melt the decal or make the ink run.slowhandy said:
