SprayMax 2K and Grain Filler

I was never happy with my latest ‘Purple Haze’ build Nitro Finish, so I'm stripping it back down to bare wood and going to re-dye and use SprayMax 2K Clear Coat. I need to use a grain filler for the Mahogany back, and not sure what to use for compatibility with the aniline dye (Keda) and the SprayMax. In my research I see that water based grain fillers like Aqua Coat don’t react well with the 2K finish, but I’m not finding any good info on what would work well with it and also the dye. The Solarez UV Cure Grain Filler looks interesting, but not sure if I could dye over the top of it. Does anyone have any experience with this that they can share ?

Thanks.

It was great! Did you do this because you were overly affected by "Mandy"?!!!!!

I'm interested in the replies you will get. I watched a bunch of YT videos about solarez and never quite learned the when and how much. Fill, sand, stain or stain, fill, sand? I doubt staining the pores could be done after the filler, but could you stain the body after sanding? I'll need to bite the bullet, get a test bottle and sacrifice an old body on the solstice. BTW your lacquer job looks nice
