Spalt Season

It seems there will be a number of spalted maple topped guitars to grace this site very soon.  Jack already hit a home run with his spalt Strat.  DangerousR6, Riverbluff, and NonsenseTele have their spalt Teles under various stages of construction.

I got the Quantum View e-mail informing me that my spalt Soloist has shipped and will be in my grubby hands on Monday.  :glasses9:

Around the time I built my Spalted Maple Strat, there was a JBass body that was near identical with black binding, top VERY similar to mine. I was thinking about picking that up, but somebody snatched it up before I could make up my mind to do it. I could have sworn the finished bass was on this site's Gallery, but don't see it now?
