Just out of curiosity, what don't you like about them?

I have a lot of gold hardware just laying around and this was inspired by one of the many incarnations of the Gibson Black Beauty:

I just don't like gold hardware.  It screams for the all nickel treatment.

I may like it more with abalone squares instead of the stark whiteness of the MOP
