So you play metal? And think that wood, pickups, strings matter? Well ...

Maybe cello is 5 semitones lower than YOUR guitar.  My acoustic and electric are both baritones, but I tune to C or C#, not B.

I hate to sound too much like an old fart. Much of what I like once passed for metal in its day. But one aspect I'm ready to be over is the 240bpm 32nd note double bass drum pedal thing.  It robs the other  instruments of opportunity when you might as well be triggering your bass drum off a playing card in the spokes of your bicycle wheel.

Baritone guitars are great, they go below a cello, but I've never tried one (or a 7 string, either).

But the cello is still way more metal, imagine this with acoustic guitars, it would wimp me to death.  :headbanging:

One sub-genre I let this slip by is Power Metal. Because come on, what is more powerful than a machine gun  :headbang5 :band:
