Anyone know of any manufacturers that use flat chrome covers on their pickups (no screws)  Thats the thing I like about my black bartolinis, I'd order Bartolinis but they don't have too much of a variety to choose from.  Southeast music on ebay has some but the price is too low to be really worth trying.

I am assuming that you are gonna use these on open coil humbuckers? If so you might need to wax pot the pickups afterward.

Sounds like more trouble than what its worth really.  I'm going to do a 3 pickup LP.  Chrome covered pickups, regular bridge and neck with a split humbucker or humbucker sized p90 in the middle position

sounds like a good plan. Stick with pre-coverd buckers so you dont have to mess with em. :icon_thumright:

Carvin has them, but I don't know what they sound like - it seems most people who buy their guitars leave 'em stock, so it might be worth a try.

Just checked Seymour Duncan's site, and their Custom Shop will do humbuckers with chrome covers, no holes, to your specs for $170.

They also have Livewires (active p'ups) with the same look.

Wow, $170 is crazy.  I'm gonna stick with the chrome covered pickups with a humber sized P90 in the mid.
