Silver tele

That is a wicked Tele! You need to play some Cheap Trick with that thing...now!  :laughing7: Seriously though, I love it.

(And aren't those Phat Cats awesome? I've got a set and I love 'em. :icon_thumright:)

The more I look at it, the more I like it. The checkerboard design could have ended up looking cheesy, but your interpretation is ultra-classy. Now you need to build a Strat to match!

That thing is great! It's always good to see an interesting and creative execution of a project. The dark fret board really works well with the design. Good call on the chrome accoutrements.  :icon_thumright:
You should be very proud of your work!

Well here are my final outdoor photos.  Thanks everyone for all the nice the nice things you have said about it.
I think it looks really good in the snow.  :o

I'm surprised the finish turned out that well.

I didn't have high hopes for it, either, back at the conception stage when he was first talking about it. Thought it would turn out looking like golfer's pants or something. But, it ended up looking exceptionally good.

Tell you what, as much as I like the great body paint job, the neck looks perfect too.

The whole thing with the metallic grey headstock, the dark fretboard, and even the black/chrome PW tuners look flawless, especially with the maple back.

Yeah, it came out better than I expected.  The black/chrome PW tuners were actually an accident.  When I ordered them they were just called Chrome on Warmoth's website.  I had no idea the tops were black.  When I got them in the mail I was disappointed at first.  In the end though I think it works better than if they were all chrome.

I've used them a few times, they look good on black headstocks but horrible on maple headstocks. On yours they work perfect given the silver/grey/chrome scheme, definitely better then had they been all chrome.

The only thing I don't care for is the big goofy wave logo on the back that they have, but that's minor.

I wasn't sure how well the concept would turn out either, but you did a helluva job and pulled it off.  That's way better than I pictured in my head. :icon_thumright:

I think this has to be the owner finished guitar of the year!!  I love it more every time I see it!
