Hey,
Does anybody out there own these rings? I am trying to split my two humbuckers and add a series/parallel switch to my Warmoth V build. I am having some challenges getting everything in the cavity. Trying to avoid getting out the dremel and doing some creative carving. I just found out about these Seymour Duncan triple shot rings that have the switches built in. Sounds really like an awesome concept; plus it would be nice not to drill three holes in my body for mini-switches.
Here is my question for anybody that actually has a pair! I already have had Jet Black Ebony humbucker rings and knobs custom made for this baby. Does it look like the electronics from these rings could be removed and transplanted to my ebony rings. I really love all my custom wood pieces and would hate to give them up. However, these humbucker rings seem to be sweet and would keep a nice clean look for my geetar. I might consider using them anyway, but would sure like to preform the transplant. Any thoughts? :icon_scratch:
Thanks for your thoughts, time, and :rock-on:
