I played this out live one night, and it has spent most of it's life hanging in my trophy room  LOL.  There is nearly 0 fret wear, and no nicks or dings or anything in the finish.  Comes with a G&G Western Tooled case.  The guitar fits, but is snug.  I have over $2000 invested, and would like to get around $1500 for it if possible.  I know it is an aquired taste, but would rather see it go to someone whole than part out at this point  =(  PM or post here if interested, and we can discuss further....  :rock-on:

**EDIT**

Body and case have been sold...but the neck is still available!  PM if interested in a killer rosewood neck and hardware.  The neck is a warmoth pro 10"-16" radius with Black TUSQ XL Nut, '59 neck profile, and 6150 frets.  The tuners are grover rotogrip locking tuners and come with the ebony wood buttons and original gold buttons.  The trussrod cover is rosewood to match the neck, but I also have the original black plastic cover from warmoth if you rather.  You get both.  0 fret wear

How do you possibly have $2000 invested in that?

I look at the showcase all the time, I mean all the time, that body and that neck even at upper dollar prices can't be over $1200, and I'm being generous, hardware can't be over 300 including pups.

I see why you wanna sell it, it don't look that good. That's a $650 dollar guitar if your lucky

It probably looks better in real life, but nothing is going to fix that wildly out-of-place F-hole. It's like a nose ring or a safety pin through the lip. Of course, some people like that sort of thing. In any event, you're probably right. About $650-$700 is probably what it'll bring.

The body spec'd in the builder runs $855
The neck spec'd in the builder runs $433
That's $1288 just for the woody bits, if you were to order the same thing now.

I know both were showcase items, but with all hardware included $1500 doesn't sound bad.

Ouch...especially coming from a hero member?  I appreciate questions about the guitar, and am happy to answer to the best of my abilities like others on this forum did for me while building it.  But I do not appreciate comments like these.  Everyones tastes and likes are different or warmoth would not even be in business.  If someone is legitimately interested in the guitar, please feel free to PM me and we can hash out a final price.

So Sorry, I'm sure it looks better in person, and other have made good points that are valid, I jumped the gun.

I'm sure it's worth every penny your asking, I let my dislike of the washed out blue influence my crappy remarks

Kudos for the apology. I was gonna jump in and say that was a dick move. I don't care for the washed blue either. I think that's because I fell in love with this whale blue single cut years ago. That was my favorite color so everything else just pales in comparison. This is a very nice guitar though. I would hate to let it go. I hope the sale goes well.

If I wasn't planning on building my own VIP down the road, you might have been able to convince me to pick this up for that price. I remember when this got finished, I loved it then, and I love it now. Gorgeous guitar, and I personally love guitars with f-holes like that - first guitar I ever bought was a semi-hollow Hamer Artist with an f-hole.

It definately looks much better in person!  I love this guitar, but as others know, new axes pop into ones head and some stuff must go to help fund them  =)  If not, then I will continue to enjoy it

Well, had an interested party for just the body and case, so I have decided to strip the guitar.  Body and bits have been sold, but the neck and or tuners would still be available.  PM if interested in a sweet rosewood neck!
