I was lacking a telecaster guitar in my collection, so I decided to build my dream Tele!
I was inspired by the "Fender Select" series, a short running series of premium-ish guitars with flame top and birdseye neck. Google it if you need more info.
I went for a unique flame maple cap with a honey burst finish. The neck is birdseye maple of course. I decided to go with golden hardware and a white pearl pick guard.
The body features a custom contured heel and a belly cut. Also masked faux binding. I'll go for the classic pickup layout, but decided to order the body with a middle pickup rout if I want to add one in the future.
The neck has a pretty flat compound radius and stainlees jumbo frets. This is where I feel most comfortable.
All extra parts were ordered today - can't wait to start assembling this beauty!
