SD Tele Hot Rail pups or other hotter Tele humbucker'ish pickup

Greetings,

I built a Warmoth Tele last year using Bill Lawrence Twin Blades pups.  I'm not very well versed in Tele pups, but I "think" these get the sound.  Overall, I'm happy with the pups for the purpose of using them as traditional Tele pups that are noiseless. 

Well....

I saw another Tele body that I'm growing interested in.  Instead of repeating another Tele with Tele type pickups, I'd like to try something with more zing.  I'm historically a humbucker guy (historically a Les Paul guy to be more precise) and would like to get pickups that have humbucker meat to them, but with the openness of a Tele pup.  Wondering if the SD Tele Hot Rails are a good choice.

If not, what would you recommend?

If medium output is your gig, a P-Rails might be a decent compromize
