Schaller Tuners

Hello everyone,

I currently have a 2006 american standard mapple strat neck with the original locking tuners (schaller/ping). I'm going to make an order from warmoth and get a neck with my specs. My question is, will the schaller hole size option that warmoth offers match the tuners I have.

Thank you guys ;)

I have both and while I have never measured them they both have fit the schaller routing of warmoth. Although a bit snug. One thing to note if you order from warmoth I think they come all in the same hieght "correct me if I am wrong" The sets off ebay and from schaller have staggered height posts.

Hi and thanks for the quick answer. I am actually getting them directly from schaller and yes they will be staggered. These are the ones I am getting (http://guitar-parts.biz/hp529939/F-Series-Locking-10570220.htm?ITServ=C2d6a8bf3X15155484cb2X75b4). I have noticed though that the holes on the american standard are all the way the same like the sperzel option from warmoth (see the pictures). And for some reason the schaller option isn't like that. It seems that it's narrower at the top. So I'm confused and don't know which option I should choose.

Well I'm betting either would work. The schaller rout makes for a good fit for the nut that drops in from the top. But either way the tunner will be supper snug and centered with the 12/64 bottom hole. I have to sand just a hair to get them to drop in. I have them on 3 necks now. I even tried a gotoh route with the 13/32 and that was just a hair big. It still worked and they are all centered. My experience has been the schaller route with a little finessing for a tight snug fit has worked best for me. .
