Schaller mini locking tuners

hello,

are the Schaller Mini Locking Tuners that Warmoth sells have staggered height?  so I don't have to use string trees?

or should I go with locking Sperzels?

I've shown my own animosity towards the use of string tees and was reassured by the helpful board members here that string tees are not always necessary in straight peghead  construction, but even if you need them, it doesn't hurt to have a graphtech or a roller style string tee.

The Schallers are very low to the peghead face, so your break angle is adequate and you don't need trees.

They do have a lower post height than many other locking tuners, they happen to be my personal favorite.
