Probably already here somewhere but.. anyone tried one of these yet? Looks like an interesting design..Been debating choices for a fixed bridge on future neck-thru and bolt-on builds for flat-top bodies, and this one came up...

Ahem...

Very smooth under the hand - so much so you can't really tell whether your resting on it or the strings (until you play a note).
Not easy to rout for the rear fittings, IMHO, but the single string retainer bar is an easy earthing point.
Tone comments are difficult for me to compare because I've fitted it to a unique hollow body, but it doesn't seem to have the infinite sustain alleged.

For security reasons,of where I work, the search functions dont work for me with the browser im on,so couldnt search it short of reading through 40406960450459595 posts, which isnt going to happen.....

But thnx for a reply. Nice build btw. Always nice to see something unique, and someone trying different ideas, rather than puking out yet another strat, tele, paul, etc all the time.

As for any maker's claims or hypes, Im less-concerned,as I rarely buy into much of that unless i try something myself and it happens to work out that way.
My main curiousity was just-how well did it install, does it seem to work ok etc. It's different, its new,few of us have any 1st-hand knowledge of them, and it looks like something different from the same-old.

Also for any maker's claims-consider this. You go to the trouble of designing something new like this (hard to do in guitar-related products since we're all sort of stuck in our ways most of the time) and you come up with something for which u get a patent (no small matter there,at all),you're going to be pretty enthusiastic.
So forgive the guy his hype, and just take it with a grain of salt until you actually TRY it-before shooting a guy down,as to any opinions of facts.
Until YOU have tried it yourself-YOU dont know from Tom ,Dick or Harry whether there is any validity to it one way or the other.
Sure, there's a lot of ASSUMPTIONs one can make, based on some logic or other, but beyond that...
Forums like these are full of guys who will puke out one OPINION or other in favor of this or that,or impart some "wisdom" or other on an item-be it a guitar,a wood used in a guitar,an amp,etc without ever having so much as SEEN or HEARD one for themselves.  :tard:
For me, Ill comment on what I DO know from my own experiences, and will ASK about that which I dont yet know.
:rock-on:
