Rock or not???

The Strat-O-Glasster (my name, not official.) So would you rock it or not is the question? I've seen plenty of acrylic guitars and played several, including Dillion and BC Rich. And I like them somewhat, but usually a bit too heavy for my tastes. This one is supposedly an actual Fender custom shop, I cannot confirm or deny if it is per se. :dontknow:

I personally think the sound it a bit transparent.... :laughing7:

is it routed out where the pickguard profile would be?  If so, cool!

would I rock it?  Depends on how heavy the murder-forker is. (gettin' old don'tchaknow)

I've seen a Tele wrapped in tweed...Pretty crazy, even had a Fender raised amp logo on it...

I have to agree with mayday ... It's the weight.  For me more than 9 lbs kills my back.

I would rock any guitar I had except vintage guitars with the price of a house, I prefer a house over any guitar.

Have you asked the Fender CS with the serial number? They must be able to tell you.

It's not mine, so really sn doesn't matter to me. I just ran across the pic and thought it would be an interesting topic... :dontknow:

I assume the tone is smooth, but brittle.
Well, we can look at it this way. For those of you that know who Satriani is (if you don't please sell all your guitars immediately). His OG Chrome Boy is a Lucite body that had been chromed. So I would tend to think more shrill than smooth...And acrylic just isn't going to exude tonal qualities comparatively to wood. Just my .02... :laughing7:

It'd be cool to have one wrapped in a nice Harris or Donegal Tweed with leather patch for pickguard.

I'd be kool with maybe a silver leather Fender logo instead of the hard plastic one...
