Ugh. It’s probably a mistake, but I’m trying to carve my own roasted maple neck right now. These look great and would have been much easier, lol.
Would Roasted Birdseye Maple Lamtops ever be an option for guitar bodies?
I vote for more '59 roundbacks across the board! It seems like all the '59 profiles have RW fretboards. It would have been nice to offer maple fretboards.

There was a limited number of Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboards, as it is hard to match figuring with the shaft, so more fretboards were RW.It seems like all the '59 profiles have RW fretboards. It would have been nice to offer maple fretboards.
Why no cream dots on roasted maple fretboard?? That’s a dealbreaker for me![]()
The luminlays with the black collar look really good on roasted maple, so how about cream facedots with a black "ring"? Or black facedots with a cream ring?RM is a really tough one for fret dots. Both cream and black disappear a little bit. Black seems to disappear a little bit less, and it's also the traditional choice for a maple fretboard, so that's what we usually do for showcase.
