For those of you who like wirin' stuff -

To prepare my board for the Mad Professor Delay, I decided to clean up the rest of the board, removing the test-fit items and replacing them with the permanent (semi) parts.  You'll notice a Timmy overdrive in place of the Tube Driver.

I liked the power brick up top for a while, then decided to move it below deck.  The thing that was preventing me earlier was not wanting to run a power cable between the mounting plates.

Then I remembered I had an IEC outlet lying about, so I decided to get out the ol' nibbler and have at it.  Measure 5x's, nibble once.

Made up another power cable and plugged her in.

Bingo - plenty of room for another pedal.  I'll test the noise level with the tuner up above the power brick, but the aluminum mounting plate should supply enough shielding to protect the input signal - if it's even an issue in the first place.

Removed temporary painter's tape from mounting plate edges and used heavy duty electrical tape

On the v1, there are a couple of internal DIP switches that allow you to choose between symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping (Top or bottom of waveform).  The V2 has a three position toggle to replace the internal DIP switches.

OK, I gotta ask, what's the switch on the Timmy for?  ???
