Hey guys. I broke the shafts on my Explorer's pots, so I figured I'd replace the pots. Gibson told me that the stock pots are 300k linear pots for the volume, and 500k audio pots for the two tones.
I'm not too concerned about keeping the pots stock, but I would like the same functionality (i.e. still just 2 vol, 1 tone - no fancy wiring)
Do you guys think I should replace them exactly to Gibby's specs, or would having them all as 500k audio taper provide the same function (and probably be cheaper to order)?
