I have a guitar that I stripped, stained and oiled about maybe 6 years ago. I think it's time for a new coat. Especially the neck.
Thing is, I have no idea what kind of oil it was, because it was a guitar repairman just gave it to me.
Do you think I could just put the steel wool to it and use ANY kind of oil? Could something go wrong?
