Release date of Danelectro Dano Guitars

Trying to see when Danelectro will be releasing the Dano guitars they showed at NAMM.

What stood out about it?

Played really well, sounded great, felt great, nice electronics (the tuner is especially cool).

It was one of those guitars you wanted to keep playing. And playing and playing and playing. Hard to find one of those...

The first guitar body that I built in 1981 Wa from bastardizing my dads original 59 Danelectro by yanking the neck, and then building a solid body almost identical to the Dano, but with a shorter lower cutaway, and a single Gibson Velvet Brick in the brrisge on a standard stop tailpiece and Tunomatic bridge with a Brian May “inspired” pickguard that I still refer to as the “DannyMay”.

This was long before internet and when all you had was Guitar Player magazine articles and when a long distance call was to the next town.
Among those calls was to a little clapboard wood shop in Puyallup, Wa that was generous enough to share some tips with me over the phone.

I’ve often thought about reproducing it lately.

I might have one somewhere, I’ll have to dig for it. I lost thousands of photos on a computer crash a few years ago, lost photos from my childhood.

Tuttle guitar ... at $1000, that's a good price point, plus the website knows where I am and how far away the three closest shops are to the .1th mile!
I'll have to check out that 12 string dano.

I emailed them and they said April. Asked where to buy and they said only Sweetwater. But I guess Chicago Music Exchange is getting some too cause they have a preorder for March on reverb.
