Is anyone else as stoked about the Meadowhawk as me?

Probably the coolest looking guitar from Warmoth now. I'll have to start coming up with excuses on why I need a new guitar.

By the way, does anyone have any idea why this and the dinkycaster can't be chambered? Is it the odd shape? Would that make them too light?
I know there probably isn't the demand for hollow and hollow is probably 3x the labor,

I don't see any reason that it couldn't be chambered; it's probably just a matter of having to have someone write the CNC files and if it's worth the time and effort in relation to demand

Wow....thanks so much. But I doubt Leo is looking over his shoulder.

Also, I don't care what anyone has told you. You're a human being and should never feel like you need to make excuses for basic human needs.

The reason they aren't chambered is actually more basic than all that. It's because chambering has not been programmed for them. Doing it right is more than just hogging out voids. There is a certain amount of R&D that goes into making sure the body won't warp or cup. There's programming time. Etc. Etc.

We want to see how these bodies sell before spending that money.

Interesting that there isn't a banner on the main Warmoth site announcing the Meadowhawk. I guess this is a soft launch. Maybe they're waiting for the new @aarontunes video. Also interesting that the showcase roasted maple Meadowhawk necks are $90 less than the exact same neck if created in the custom builder.

Tomorrow is the official release day. (Though a few have already sold!) Enabling these new products, along with their conditional logic, rules, and all the images required to make the visual builders work, can be tricky. Soft-releases give us the chance to make sure everything is working before opening the flood gates.

And yes, we're basically giving away the Meadowhawk inlays for free on this first batch of showcase necks.

One question...

Should standard size Unique Choice tops work with the Meadowhawk (and Dinkycaster) bodies?

It doesn't list them on the site, but I wondered if that was because those body shapes weren't available when the unique choice option was added back, rather than because they actually wouldn't work.

Yes.

And good catch. I'll fix that now!

EDIT: fixed. 10 points to Gryffindor.
