Relatively Unknown Guitarists

James Byrd

His Atlantis Rising album still ranks high on my list...

Those Byrd guitars seem pretty damn cool. I just read up on them and I like the features he's put into them. I won't be getting one since they're like $2300+, but I like them.

For all you acoustic guitar lovers out there, there are a couple of guys you should check out.

Newton Falukner is doing quite well. Excellent guitarist, fantastic fingerstyle with percussive tapping style.  Great songwriter, and good singer too.  Check out his version of "Teardop' by Massive Attack.

Alsp check out Eric Roche, he taught Newton Faulkner.  Brilliant percussive guitarist, sadly passed away last year after a battle with cancer.

For the Electric guys.
Gotta be Guthrie Govan.  He's just phenomenal.
Joe Bonamassa. Not exactly unknown I know, but he's incredible.
