Raw Neck Care and Maintenence

So I ordered a raw Wenge bass neck and I've be scouring the internet look for caring for raw wood and haven't been able to find anything.

I live in MN where we have 0% humidity for half of the year when everything is frozen. I can't beleive that any raw wood would be able to stay moist with just the oil from my hands, So if my neck does start to dry out what the best thing to use?

A humidity sponge like an acoustic guitar
Lemon oil
Mineral oil

I have a raw indian rosewood neck and put lemon oil on it periosically, it seems to like it.

Formby's Lemon Oil works nicely on my padouk neck. It's also great as a fingerboard treatment.

gotta put a plug in for orange oil.  Works great and smells so good.
