Raw filter

I was wondering if there is an easy way to see all necks that can be played "raw"?  If not, is that a feature that could be added to the website/neck showcase filters.  For those of us who favor necks that can be left unfinished, I think this would be a useful search.  Thanks!

exotic meaning non-local meaning not from the US (or North American maybe?) not meaning exotic in style or rarity

What I would like to know is, what determines whether a neck can be left unfinished... is it just hardness???

also, are there any other (or non-exotic) woods that W is not using that can be played raw?

i thought the whole finish factor has to do with the natural oils in the wood. If it has a lot of oil in it, it doesn't have a wide range to gain or lose moisture

That was my understanding as well.
