They say the price of getting old is having to watch everyone else die.... they sure are bangin' off this year, huh? :sad1: 61 years old is too close for comfort.

As brilliant as Hendrix was, "Fire" just wouldn't be the same without Mitch.

Wow. He lived just long enough to finish up that tour, too. My dad went to the show in Boston, not me though  :-\

And the price of being young is not being able to see these guys  :doh:

This guy was simply a f*cking incredible drummer. He had everything, bags of technique, great feel and played with tons of passion.

Always came across as a cool, down to earth guy in interviews as well.

RIP Mitch, will be sorely missed.

Hendrix really got all the credit from the experience.  All three were fantastic musicians.
