Question on Warmoth Boatneck Profile

I acquired a Warmoth neck pre-owned. It is a boatneck profile. I am wondering if it may have been sanded. The back of the  neck near the
headstock is for sure the boatneck profile, but up before the 12th fret and on to the neck heel, it rounds out to like a thick C shape- still thick, but rounded. Any input would be much appreciated.

Is the back of the neck at the body joint the same thickness as the heel?

Yes, appears just about the same thickness, but it has more of a C, instead of the pronounced Boatneck profile at the headstock.
