Padouk with Macassar Ebony. 

For now, this is going to go on my existing Warmoth "Ell Pee" style flat top body; the existing neck (a baritone Wenge with Ebony) will move to my newly acquired Mahogany VIP body, and its existing neck will be part of a new project.  The great shuffle resumes!

(And yes, I now own electric guitars.)

Padouk is a very interesting wood. Years ago, one of my brothers lucked into a large-ish supply of the stuff and was building dovetail jointed amp cabinets and "specialty" pipes out of it for about a year. No telling where any of it ended up. Can't remember. Must've been a side effect of the Padouk dust...
