What do you do when light on cash to complete current projects? Why of course start planning out future projects.
So I need a super Strat. Also what a Sustaniac. Here are my initial thoughts:
7/8 Strat. Will be figured Koa top with an oil finish. Body will be chambered and be of either roasted alder or black korina. Neck will be roasted maple with an ebony board. Headstock will have a figured Koa overlay. Gold 6100 frets.
Bridge will be a Floyd NFT. Locking Hipshot tuners. Hardware will be gold.
Neck pup will be a Sustainiac in a SC format. Middle pup a noiseless SC. For the bridge, looking at a Railhammer. All pups will be black.
1 vol that will be push pull to split the bridge. 1 tone that will be a push pull to activate the Sustainiac. 1 mini toggle to toggle between the 3 Sustainiac modes. 5 way switch doing the normal duties.
Will probably send out the neck to DC for scalloping fretboard frets 5-24. I tend to have to use a capo at times unplanned.
