OK - down to the wire.  She is all strung up and set up.  Other than opening up the string slots on the nut for 11s, it required very little setup.  The frets are level and shiny.  Here is the final "in progress" pic:



All I need to do is add strap buttons and knobs.  I can't decided between the black knobs or the gold hat style:



What do y'all think?

Tough call, but I'm voting black due to the chrome bridge.

Nice. Black knobs would be right, since gold will clash with the other hardware, but match the pickups.

It sounds okay - it plays very nicely but I am not really happy with the GFS NeoVin pickups and will probably swap them out at some point.  They are pretty much noiseless but don't have much in the way of character - they don't sound vintage to me.  I am going to go to Roadhouses as soon as get some extra $$$
