Not using strap locks is a mortal sin, though. I rarely even use a strap, and I still put strap locks on everything. Like seatbelts, you may never need them, but on the off chance you do they're your only chance for a happy ending.

Hilarious! But did the strap even come off? It almost looked like he just threw it up at a weird angle and it just flew right over his head. Couldn't tell. Either way, thats awesome!

EDIT: Haha nope! Slow-mo at the end confirmed it, that strap went flying!

That happened to a beautiful Strat I built for one of the guitar players in my youngest sons band a few years back. The bonehead had this beautiful custom finished and built Start done by me and he is in the garage practicing his moves (the same move as in the video) and it flew off the strap and into his dads tool box which annihilated the finish on the guitar.  :tard:

I did not fix it for him and the next guitar I built for him he paid full price for, no deals the second time around.
