Post what you're listening to!

I can't help but free-associate from this to to Joe's Garage, key lyric being, "It was a Stratocaster with a whammy bar."    Adrian Belew was no longer in Frank's band at the time Joe's Garage was recorded but whatever.

I love Adrian Belew's work.  No matter how insane and intense it gets, it always sounds like he is loving what he's doing.  At the peak of the pointy-headed King Crimson prog stuff, his own weirdness and pop-confections, stuff he has done with others - it makes me happy to hear him making his guitar and other musical and music-adjacent noises.

Joe's Garage is one of my favorite albums ...

I'm free associating too but from Amon Duul.  This is one of my favorites.  Fernando will correct but it was written during much turmoil in Brazil.

Ronnie Hawkins (1935–2022), rockabilly musician who mentored the Band. RIP Ronnie.

PS Brazilian Death Metal!  Holy Cow!  My throat hurts just listening to her.  How about some tropicalismo?  Or is that just for the old people?

This band would be perfect after a fall hike kicking back in front of a crackling fire with a snifter of warm brandy.  :laughing7:

Because I'm a music nerd, I'm in to folks analyzing songs.  I especially like those who actually know what the hell they are talking about, so I'm a fan of the channel 'The Charismatic Voice'.

Check her out analyzing a killer song:
