Seafoam Green 7/8's Strat. (autocorrect kept replacing with seafood).
Played for the Arkansas Alzheimers association and we raised $15,000 for the event. Reunion of my old band Roxx from when I was in high school in the late 70's. I went ahead and had the headstock painted in green to match the body. Love this guitar.

Tuning up:

Thanks for the replies! It was really a blast and it is amazing that even though we went through 30 something years of not playing and everyone is doing non music related jobs, we still got some of the old mojo back when we played.

swarfrat in the interest of complete honesty I had refinished the headstock and then did a dreaded drill through while installing the Sperzels...SO...I had a luthier friend in L.A. fix it by finishing the headstock. I love the way it turned out. My other current build, a Tele with a walnut neck, was refinished by me and I managed not not screw it up.

A photo of the gig to show that I can do more than just tune it (or at least I look like I am playing). :occasion14: :party07:

That is a really nice guitar and what a great project to use it on. (even if it is seafood green  :laughing7:)

2 big thumbs up; one for the guitar and one for the fund raising!

I think it will forever be "seafood green" for me from now on.

It's now officially Seafood Green. I didn't do it on porpoise, I guess I ended up angling for a new name whilst fishing for compliments?  Now at least it has sole.

Here is another photo of seafood being played. The singer, our keyboardist is a shy son of 2 ministers (preachers) in Arkansas and the only place he typically sings is in church. He was singing Tie Your Mother Down by Queen. He rocked it.

Pun-ishment. :laughing11:

For real, I went through the Warmoth builder this weekend and found myself thinking of seafood green as a possible color for one I'd like to put together. Warmoth should change the name of that color to reflect reality, here. :icon_biggrin:
