Well in talking to the W yesterday, I found out I can not get a Pao Ferro tiltback neck. So it looks like I am going Bubinga. Hmmm, Bubinga fretboard or a M Ebony one.. Choices choices,,,,,

Head stock will be the variax one. Definitely 25.5 scale, with a 59 contour.

Going on this: Chambered mahogany VIP, flame maple top with yellow dye and trans brown back.

I want to make sure this guitar is not too dark sounding thus the neck/fretboard woods I am looking at.

Think it will look awesome with both Bubinga or Macassar Ebony, but if you want a unique look, I'd go with Bubinga

I think that top would really pop with bubinga / ebony, but not jet black ebony. Try to get some that looks like Mully's.

That's M Ebony

the neck will be bubinga. Just trying to pick the fretboard. Your thought Is the same as mine  M Ebony will pick up on the yellow body
plan is for gold hardware and cream PRails

The only issue you'd have with that guitar is the possible electronics problems caused by excessively drooling on it.

That is a real beauty...  :glasses9:
I am anxious to see the finish.  The bubinga/bubinga should look great.
