Pickguard for '54 P bass

After seeying Mr Feelgood topic (http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=11258.0) I decided to finally make a mock up of a little change in the '54 P Bass pickguard that could look good... Not sure if anyone agree or not, this rough mock ups I've made are not 100% alike of what I've in mind, but I'm not really good on digital draw, but hey, say what you think...

Nice mockup, but I like the lines of the original.  I wish it accomodated more than the vintage pickup there.  It wouldn't take much to make it J-Bass friendly.
