Fender Silverface Bandmaster Reverb on top of a Carvin Bel Air cab (chassis removed) with a Peavey Rockmaster preamp, JBL MI-12 and  Carvin speakers.



Fender Super Champ X2 on top of a White Plains 15 inch speaker cab converted to a 12 inch by creating a brass adapter/tone ring with a Fender 12 inch 8 ohm speaker.



Vox Lil' Night Train on top of a Quantum 4X6 cab with 2 Jensen Alnicos, 1 unidentified Alnico and an Emminence Ceramic speaker, on top of a modified Fender Silverface Vibro Champ with a 10 inch 4 ohm Peavey Scorpion speaker.

Those stacks sho' are a whole lotta "southern (sound) engineering"! -And I mean that in a most positive way with much admiration. I like a lot of those amps, but always found myself thinking "It needs more of..." or "This is so cool, but I wish it could do..." and "If only these two could somehow be one...".

For the Vox little stack cab, those were all of the speakers I was able to come across which I had gotten from a friend in trade for other stuff. 6 inch speakers are hard to find. I like Alnico speakers (and pickups) and I find it interesting to mix and match Alnico and Ceramic speakers for the best of both worlds. I am all about the tone.
