What are 7, 9 and 11?

3 & 4 is Flame Maple, headstock dye like centre of Pele fade with darker blue on edge

7  Bloodwood
8  Padouk + Ebony
9  Indian Rosewood
10  Maple, Roasted
11 Brazilian Ebony

Oh boy, that body is gorgeous.

I'm on the fence.  I like 4 a lot but the idea of Padouk to go with the orange on the body is very appealing, so 8 is a strong contender as well.

Thanks for all those renderings of body+neck, that will help me guide my Pele fade build as well !

I'm liking the black pickups a lot more than bright white in this case.

Neck wise I like 2/3/4/7/8 best, possibly 9 too but I just feel the headstock lacks contrast.

Something like 8 but with a peghead quilt maple veneer stained orange/red ?
I'm not sure a veneer would be needed.  I have a padouk neck (w/ ebony fretboard) and the orange color is pretty vivid.  :dontknow:

So noob question what are you running to see what necks and pickups look like I bought a similar body and would like to check out a few.
Thanks

As the special situation, some background can influence on this build: my daytime job is design and engineering robotics of theme park animatronics , I enjoyed this kind of jobs, and most of my guitar build I like to have some kind of theme on it .

As COVID-19 , all theme park are closed down, we still got projects to do right now , as most of contract sign at lest half year ago , bigger problem right now is finished project don’t know when can go to installation on site, factory too full as new projects still need to build on schedule.

For second half of 2020 , event the theme park not bankrupt, I sure they going to cut budgets, so I need to save up for unknown future , not speeding too much $ , I most likely use the neck I got , and try not to buy a new neck for this .

The Flame Maple neck is in this video and I still not using it on any guitar.

It got very thin lacquer finish , so I think not so difficult to sanding it off on headstock then dye it , but still a bit risky.

I'd probably go with #7 neck, with black pups. There are aftermarket black nickle covers for that Filtertron on Amazon, but they are a might pricey: https://www.amazon.com/bangdan-Humbucker-Filtertron-pickup-Nickel/dp/B01L575TMK

Padouk will become dark red brown after some years, I got one for other build , show photo later .

Also as show talk about in this warmoth video

I heard that the padouk fades to dark brown while the bloodwood fades to dark red.

thanks for Warmoth hard working in this period, my 40th Anniversary Dyes order send out before lockdown. I finally got it now after re-shipping .

4K video from unboxing to testing different neck / pickup and hardware combination build ideas . Which one you like ?

What happened to beautiful Telecaster, I show in last video ?

Also thanks Warmoth included a T-shirt and a thank you card with pick holder key ring in the package.
