Pedal Switching devices

Hey guys, I'm in the process of changing from a digital multieffects rig to an analog pedal board and don't really want to do the whole tap dancing act since I've gotten used to one click Midi stuff.  I'm aware of a few devices like the Voodoo Lab pedal switchers and commander, the GigRig Pro-14, and the Carl Martin Octaswitch but I was wondering if you guys know of any others with room for at least 6-8 pedals.  I'm trying to save some money as I don't have a very large amount to spend...

Thanks!

RoadRage make a whole bunch of different sized loop switchers: http://www.roadrageprogear.com/compact_true_bypass.html
RJM make a couple of switchers and a pedalboard but I wouldn't call them cheap: http://www.rjmmusic.com/effectgizmo.php

I'd be interested to hear what solution you find, I'll be facing the same question in the future :)

+1 on the road rage.  I got a bigfoot wired with a total bypass, tuner bypass, and buffer then the pedal chain get TOO long!

Loooper is also an option. http://www.loooper.com/

I've got one at home I have not touched in several years and would be willing to sell.  When I get home I'll see how many pedals it supports.

So do any of these systems let you create preset "patches" where one click will give you OD/delay and another click will give you compressor/chorus?

Well, maybe read up on them? The RJM system does and DbU's Wobo too, not the Roadrage (I think). Can't answer for the rest.

Alright, thanks guys,  :icon_thumright: this definitely gives me a few more ideas to consider, although this is gonna be a long time in the making..
