LOL. Maybe it WAS Utah!

But also: if you have not been to any of the National Parks in and around Utah you missing out. Seriously. From my front steps I'm within four hours of about eight national parks. I'm within eight hours of a dozen more, but the UT ones are some of the best IMO.

Our 2 cats are named Bryce and Zion.

I would have made the trip, but unfortunately I already had a family-reunion-style vacation planned when the dates were announced. Too many other people had already committed to the date to back out!

Glad those who went had a great time, and wish I had been there.

And if it makes y'all feel any better, I was at least in the PNW. The whole fam-damnly was down in Cannon Beach, watching the whales and playing in the sand. We all got savagely burned, and today my forehead looks like it's covered in wet toilet paper.

If you go next year I'll take a vacation to go up there just to meet you ! @Spud , you better make it too......
