It is the major free way and it will be closed from north of, to south of downtown KAOS awaits. I am not patient taking 45 minutes to move approx 1 mile in the heat, and there are many hellish more miles to go

I've been guilty of this at times.

I left Rush a few songs early to beat traffic. But that was at White River Ampitheater, so I feel like I deserve to be cut some slack. (If you know, you know.)

If I had waited ten more minutes I would still be there.

I hear that, mine was from the Gorge or I would still be there too! I saw Roy Rodgers, Duke Rollibilard Thunderbirds, Dr. John, Buddy Guy it was 100 plus degree's and I was done by the time BB came on and we split!

I think the heat softened my weak brain up a bit, cause when Buddy Guy came out into the crowd to play I got a bit teary.

I know the feeling, we have an Amphitheater here that insists on holding concerts in July and August when it’s 105 degrees. Of course the bigger bands always play in a nice Air Conditioned arena, but there are always several a year outside that I want to see.

I’d tough out 110 degree Arizona weather just to see Neil Peart one more time…

I couldn’t fathom leaving one of their gigs before the final note…

Now I have to go comfort eat at the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation buffet since my feelings are hurt…
