Original Floyd Rose-Licensed

by the way:

warmoth can make it quite cheap, because they dont have a 'name' for which you pay (just like fender, prs or gibson), and you pay for the parts. the wood and the crafting of a les paul at gibson's is just 750$ (including hardware). they sell it for 2000$. the other 1250 is pure profit.

Cheaper is always more expensive in the long run.  You're better off saving your cash for a little while and listening to what some older and more experienced guys are trying to tell you little dude.
Go cheaper and still not be happy, wind up spending at least 200 - 300 more bucks than you would've if you'd have just waited and saved up your cash for what you REALLY want instead of just settling to satisfy your craving for instant gratification.  Im willing to bet that the 1st thing that you'll do is change the pickups on the Carvin and the odds are that you will find other things that don't suit you.
I know that it's tough to do, especially when you want something so badly.  And I commend you for having such a tremedous drive for something that's so custom at such a young age.
Most of us at this site had waited years before attempting their first build.  I've waited 20 years myself.  Be patient and just wait abit until you can get and afford EXACTLY what you want.
