Hello new here, Finally got around to ordering a neck and body. I have an Old Jackson PC1 when i bought it used unknown to me the truss rod was stripped, I decided to take the hardware and bridge pickup(someone put a Suhr Aldrich in) off of it and transfer them over to my 1st build with some upgrades. don't have the body or neck yet but here are the specs

Welcome to the forum, Rich!

Looks like you've made some great choices. Enjoy the process of turning your plans into a real guitar! We're all here to help you with the pain of 'the waiting'.

I'm sure a lot of people will be very interested to see how that roasted maple top looks in the flesh. Excuse the liberty but here's Warmoth's photo of that UC top:

Thanks i cannot wait to see it in person. I liked the top when i mocked up the body its not super flamed but its got some nice figure in it. I will most likely just do a tru oil finish on the body.

Well, looking forward to seeing that top. Roasted maple neck, too. That should look great. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

I'm also really looking forward to seeing what that top is going to look like on the completed body!

Congrats on the first build! Once you start you probably won't be able to start! ;)

Roasted Maple is my new favorite wood! Looks like you will have one awesome axe there!

So my build is a little delayed. Apparently the body didn't pass QC so it had to be rebuilt and I had to pick a new top. Hopefully it doesn't take to long to rebuild. It is what it is though.

Be happy you dont get a sub-par product :)

This will be interesting to see how it turns out!

Oh I'm quite glad, I want it to arrive with no issues.
