One piece Goncalo Alves,anyone???

I am real close to buying a One piece Goncalo Alves neck,,, how nice are these fret boards to play on,,what would you compare them to ? i know they are nice on the back side,,the neck looks smoking nice,, ss frets,, will be my choice.
it has a 59' round back,,, there is another with a clapton profile...is that a soft v??? THANKS!!!

My Goncalo neck is my current favorite. It has a very natural feel and brings some nice mid response to the overall tone of the guitar. Mine has a Kingwood fingerboard that I like a lot but I'd totally be up for doing a solid Goncalo neck also. MY next one will be solid rosewood (arriving this week), but I feel confident I will come back to Goncalao.

sounds good to me.. i think i will go with it....the neck iam looking at on the showcase,,, looks very nice..
any maple necks i have are 1 piece,,, same with the ash ,, alder,, all 1 piece bodys.. it might not make a difference in sound,,, but for every action,, there is a reaction... THANKS!!!! :guitarplayer2:
