:help: ok so who all here has experience applying oil finishes to bubinga, rosewood and wenge??? i got a tele i'm tryin to make and i ain't sure if i'll even finish it at all but if i decided to it would only be an oil finish to bring out the grain a lil bit and maybe add a lil luster.....maybe....
i've heard that rosewood is a hard wood to finish due to its oily nature and have only seen it finished in a clear gloss.....i'm pretty much just trying to research before i get the body so i can have a decent idea of what to do going in......
