Well I got surprised by my wife and kid with an early birthday present today.
I've been eyeing up cheap acoustics for a while now, something I can leave lying around the house and something I won't freak out over when my two year old gets a hold of it. She has had my wish list for a while now and picked this one because it was "pretty" and the others where too plain. Well for once the girly way of picking things out seems to have worked. I've only had a couple hours to play with it but the neck is comfortable and the sound is great for the price. I very happy :cool01:

The burl maple is a cool wood, some angles it looks a bit flamed, others it gets a quilt look
The little guy wanted to give it a try, I can't wait for his hands to get a little bigger!
